Things to do in Humboldt in the Fall

Fall is the best time to visit the redwoods if you don’t mind the rain. Less crowds on the trails, water in the creeks and rivers, and everything is green. Here are a couple activities to enjoy after your hikes. Be sure to check them out and support them when you visit Humboldt.

Don’t forget your rain jacket.

Support Cannabis Growers & Tourism in Humboldt

The Humboldt Cannabis Reform Initiative (HCRI), rebranded as Measure A, poses a significant threat to Humboldt County’s cannabis industry. Written by two retired HSU professors, it isolates farmers from improving environmental practices and excludes public input. This initiative necessitates farmers’ defense, diverting their focus from vital initiatives. It limits board and public involvement and requires another initiative for change.
