Not only is he a pioneer, setting up tours where tours are not yet a thing, but he is SUPER DUPER knowledgeable about the cannabis trade in Humbolt county, and will educate you beyond your wildest imagination. Honestly the tour to the nursery and then dispensary/lounge was one of the highlights of our trip. Not only will we be back to see Matt again, but I’ll be raving about how everyone needs to come spend a morning/afternoon with him for a long time! Excellent tour guide. Worth every penny!

Trip Overview
After a quick introduction, we’ll head to an outdoor cannabis farm where you’ll meet farming forerunners in the cannabis industry. View Humboldt’s famous sun-grown buds as you walk in the fields and experience a licensed cannabis farm. You’ll learn why Humboldt farmers are passionate about their product and the environment.
After our farm visit, we end the tour with a stop at a locally-owned cannabis dispensary where you’ll see Humboldt’s best craft cannabis and available products while receiving an exclusive discount. From here, we’ll head back to where it all started to say our goodbyes. You’ll leave with an understanding of what makes Humboldt County a welcoming weed community.

Yes, our cannabis tours are 100% legal. We hold a business license with the City of Eureka and the County of Humboldt. We received the first special permit from the County of Humboldt to operate cannabis farm tours. We also hold a Transportation Charter Party license from the California Public Utilities Commission. The farms and cannabis businesses that we visit are licensed by Humboldt County and the state of California. You can rest assured that these tours are legal in California.
Cannabis consumption is an optional part of the tour. Most of our guests actually choose not to consume, and we stand by those who choose not to, whatever the reason.
Anyone who is curious about cannabis will enjoy our tours. Our experiences focus on education and interaction with the cannabis plant and the community that cultivates it.
Smoking is not allowed inside the van or any closed space. We advocate responsible cannabis consumption and promote informed consent. We are adamant that those who choose to use cannabis do so under their own terms. We also stand by those who choose not to consume, and our tour guides uphold a no peer pressure policy.
No. However, you will need a valid identification showing that you are at least 21 years old. Those with a California medical recommendation do not pay taxes at the dispensary and can purchase more products per day. Other than at the checkout, there is not much difference between medical and recreational in the state of California.

We own our tour van. She is a glossy black 2015 Nissan NV 3500 named Mona. With less than 100k miles, she can hold 11 passengers in three bench seats, and is equipped with a separate AC unit as well as curtain airbags in the back, for comfort and safety. Our van is a critical part of our business and we go above and beyond the state’s strict maintenance requirements to keep her in tip top shape. Some say it’s the cleanest van in Humboldt.

I had a fantastic time on the half day tour! Could have easily stayed a full day with the amount of cool stuff we were talking about/being showed. A ton of info not just about weed itself but the industry as a whole, some history of Humboldt county, and best places to see the redwoods in the area. Matt was very friendly and professional, took time to make sure any questions I might have had got answered. Almost felt like I was the only one on the tour! The farm was a couple weeks from harvest so likely the perfect time to go, it was really cool to learn how they use the local environment to keep the plants healthy and pest free. I bought 2 half-day tickets as a surprise birthday gift for my girlfriend and she loved everything about it. I am a non-smoker and felt welcomed in the tour as well. The wealth and knowledge Owner Matt had of Canabis in Humboldt County (Netflix Dramatic Music) and in general was very informative. Everything from the meet-up, the drive up to the farm, the dispensary, the drive back to the tour offices was very chill, relaxing and fun! …We ended up doing the Half Day Outdoor Farm Tour. From start to finish, it was a fantastic time. We lucked out because we were the only people booked that morning, so we had plenty of 1:1 time with Matt. Matt is such a fantastic tour guide. Great conversationalist, fantastic storyteller, and he taught us so much about the history, science, and culture of cannabis.
