June Newsletter

Hi friend,

Thank you so much for sticking with us! This year is off to a great start! A bit of June Gloom will not keep our spirits down.

I just got a Google Flight alert- Avelo Airlines has direct flights from Burbank, Ca in October for only $99 right now! October is a good time to visit and it is during harvest.

Our most popular tour this year is the Half Day Tour. On the Half Day Tour we will visit our friends at Plant Humboldt located in Briceland. It is a  luscious “sea of green” there with all the plants and it makes a great photo opportunity. They sell plants to the public so you can even take home a souvenir. Consider joining us for a morning or afternoon tour. This tour is 4 hours long. If a day is missing on our calendar please call us and we can check availability for you.

Our Full Day Farm Tours have just begun. Farmers have just gotten their plants in the ground. Our Full day tours start at 9:30 am and go until 6pm. They include an organic lunch in the redwoods. It is a great way to spend a day in Humboldt if you have the time. These tours are $195 per person and our tour groups are small, 11 folks or less. We are also getting ready to add a new farm to our tours!! So it may be worth it to come back for a second tour. Call and check in with us to learn more.

We are always adding events to our Calendar of Events. There is always good music coming through town and we have some great venues. Be sure to check our calendar when you visit us or when you make your trip plans. Our calendar includes Matt’s High-Lights from below.

If you don’t mind it Rustic, stay at The Historic Eagle House just across the street from our office.

Here are Matt’s Summer High-Lights for June and beyond.
