May Newsletter

Hi friend,

Thank you so much for signing up for our newsletter. We are so happy you are here. With summer right around the corner, we wanted to be sure you know about the best times to visit us in Humboldt and keep you in the loop on some of Humboldt’s best events.

In addition to our Half Day Farm Tours we are now offering Weed & Wine Tours. Half Day Tours are offered daily. Weed and Wine Tours are offered Thursday through Sunday and include a stop at one outdoor farm or nursery, wine tasting at Briceland Vineyards with lunch and a stop at one of our many dispensaries.

Our Full Day Farm Tours begin in June when it starts to warm up. Farmers plant their main crops in the ground in June. Plants start getting big and beautiful in mid-July or August and harvest is in late September or early October. These timeframes can change depending on the weather. Check your calendar to get your tour dates set.

If it’s really hot at home this summer, remember it’s nice and cool here on the north coast. Humboldt can be a great refuge from hot and smokey cities. Eureka usually stays below a cool 70 degrees Fahrenheit. During fire season, when it’s smokey in northern California, our skies can stay clear.

Our website is a great resource for planning your trip to Humboldt. We have a calendar of events that we try to keep updated with local live music, events, and festivals. We list our recommendations on the best restaurants and accommodations in Humboldt plus places to explore. Please call us with your questions too. We would love to help you plan your next trip!

Arcata Farmers Market

Every Saturday

The Arcata Farmers Markets is one of the best farmers market I have been to and they happen every Saturday on the Arcata Plaza. Its a great way to see the bounty Humboldt has to offer from fresh vegetables to local meats, cheeses, and breads to fresh out of the bay oysters. There is something for everyone.
