Things to do in Humboldt in the Fall
Fall is the best time to visit the redwoods if you don’t mind the rain. Less crowds on the trails, water in the creeks and rivers, and everything is green. Here are a couple activities to enjoy after your hikes. Be sure to check them out and support them when you visit Humboldt.

Support Cannabis Growers & Tourism in Humboldt
The Humboldt Cannabis Reform Initiative (HCRI), rebranded as Measure A, poses a significant threat to Humboldt County’s cannabis industry. Written by two retired HSU professors, it isolates farmers from improving environmental practices and excludes public input. This initiative necessitates farmers’ defense, diverting their focus from vital initiatives. It limits board and public involvement and requires another initiative for change.

If you happen to be here on a Friday evening grab dinner and drinks at the Friday Night Market. Old Town is a great location to stay and is easy walking. If you don’t mind it Rustic, stay at The Historic Eagle House just across the street from our office.
