Humboldt County Accommodations

Recommended Accommodations

From beachside getaways, boutique inns, cannabis farm stays, to traditional hotels, we’ve got the best of Humboldt County accommodations all in one location. In general, anywhere that allows smoking allows cannabis smoking. It’s better to ask if you’re unsure of their policy.

The Inn at 2nd and C

Location: Old Town Eureka, CA

You can walk to restaurants, bars and shops. Plus, our office, where the cannabis tour begins, is right across the street. They do not permit smoking of any kind.

The Humboldt Bay Social Club

Very reasonably priced and 5.5 miles west of Redway. This stay is located on Briceland Vineyards winery, 57 acres of oak woodlands. They have RV and tent camp sites as well as a rentable gazebo with modern amenities including a king size bed and mosquito net, hot showers, electricity and wifi. Add on a wine tasting for $30.

The Scotia Lodge

Location: Scotia, CA

This is Humboldt’s most recent addition to cannabis friendly accommodations. The hotel and grounds provide an upscale touch. They have an outside smoking area and are owned by cannabis folks. The kitchen puts out some great eats as well. This is about a 45 minute drive from where our tours begin.

Cannabis farm stay options are a little more limited. There are two options, both are glamping (fancy camping). The first is Five Sisters Farm. It’s close to Highway 101 in Southern Humboldt. The spot is beautiful, with a view of the river and fancy bell tents boasting electricity, mini-fridges, and high quality mattresses, all next to a 2500 sq ft permaculture cannabis and food garden. This spot is an hour from where our tours begin, but a short driving distance to the Redwoods and the small town of Garberville, with some really quality food options for a town of its size.

Sol Spirit Farm

Location: Willow Creek, CA

The other option is Sol Spirit Farms. They are actually located in Trinity County, about an hour and a half from where our tours begin, just on the other side of the river from Humboldt. This spot offers equally luxurious glamping. You will also find bell tents, and though they lack electricity, you do have a private restroom. The owners of the farm focus on regenerative farming and homesteading lifestyle. This quiet option is located at the end of the road, in a remote canyon. It is perfect for exploring the Trinity River, including rafting.

Vacation Rentals

Another excellent option is Redwood Coast Vacation Rentals. There are many vacation rentals in the town of Trinidad, but it’s a 45 minute drive north of the Humboldt Cannabis Tours office. Remember to ask about smoking policies.

Hotels

There is also the Holiday Inn in Eureka or the Hampton Inn Suites in Arcata if you are looking for more of a “regular” hotel. These are both relatively new with good reviews. Neither allow smoking.
